Behind the name "Fragment" stands proudly the musician from Jerusalem, born 1974, Yoav Rosner. Yoav plays the guitar from the age of 12 and the synthesizer from the age of 20. "Out of  Nowhere" is his first cd in which he plays all the instruments – synthesizers, sampler and electric guitar. He wrote and sings all the songs as well. The influences on the music varied from alternative music to electronic music and include bands like Sonic Youth, Aphex Twin, The Fall and Stereolab. The songs have been written during the years 1990-2003 and were recorded with home computer during 2004. For a year, in the mid 90's Yoav published a few of reviews in the music section in the newspaper "Kol Ha-ir" in Jerusalem.
