Amos
Rosner, born in Haifa, 1963. Started
playing the accordion at the age of seven.
Switched to piano a few years after. Also
plays keyboards, guitars and bass guitar.
Has recorded a jazz fusion album,
"Odeon", together with Sassy
Mizrakhi that was released by “JAZZis
Records” in 1991, having worldwide
exposure. Graduated Berkeley College of
Music on scholarship in Boston, USA in
1994. Produced and arranged in 1998 the
music for a Dutch theatre play,
"Let’s Talk About It".
Has
a music career that is both rich and full.
Amos has a comprehensive experience in
studio recordings, gigs, as an editor and
a host of a jazz/rock radio show on Radio
Haifa, in teaching, producing, arranging
and musical advising.
The
debut album, “Lost Planet”, was
recorded in summer 2001. All songs are
written and played by Amos. Moshe Levy and
Sharon Moldavi helped as advisors on the
material.
“Lost
Planet” is a well put together album and
is full of atmosphere. The songs, some
emotional and some dreamy are all wrapped
with rich tunes and arrangements that
intensify the experience that is
transmitted to the listener.
