Barak is 31 y.o. Born in Holon. At the age of 5, in his kindergarten time, he composed a tune to the educator's lyrics. Until the age of 15 he already controlled the violin and the piano. In 1996 he graduated The Academy of Music in Tel Aviv in composition studies. During 1997 he wrote, composed and recorded the songs that later have been included in his first album - "To Spread A Wing". His songs are melodic, sentimental, romantic and naive. Just like Barak himself.

Ronnie Someck, the famous poet, wrote about Barak Frucht: "Barak Frucht sings as if he furnishes a room…Barak sings in the space between the beauty's illusion and the knowing of that this beauty is a wallpaper only…"The music", said Bodlier, "measures the skies", and Barak Frucht knows that before the centimeters of the skies one needs to sing about the millimeters of the earth".
